Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Karish never has access to your Schwab credentials, your brokerage account, or your funds. Those stay entirely on the server you run, under your control. This policy covers only the limited account/billing data Karish itself collects to operate the platform.
1. What We Collect
- Account information — name, email address, and password (stored hashed) when you register.
- Billing information — processed and stored by Stripe, our payment processor; Karish does not store your card number.
- License/API key usage — timestamps of when your Karish node polls the flow-data feed, used to enforce your active subscription.
- Terms/Risk acceptance records — the timestamp and version of the Terms of Service and Risk Disclosure you accepted at signup, kept for our own compliance records.
- Support communications — anything you send us via email.
2. What We Never Collect
Karish never receives, stores, or has visibility into your Schwab OAuth credentials, brokerage account numbers, account balances, positions, or individual trade orders. All of that lives exclusively on the server you deploy and operate — Karish's software running there talks directly to your brokerage, not through us.
3. How We Use Data
We use the information above to operate your account, process billing, enforce subscription-based access to the flow-data feed, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data to third parties.
4. Third-Party Processors
We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe has its own privacy policy governing the payment data it processes on our behalf.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and billing records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for legal, tax, and compliance purposes.
6. Your Rights
You may request a copy of the account data we hold about you, or request deletion of your account, by emailing [email protected].
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
